If your child is learning at home at the moment, there are fantastic resources available online that they can access in addition to the learning set by their teacher. Of course, these websites are great for general practice too. Children enjoy trying to become a rock hero on Times Tables Rockstars, for example. Children can access more reading books at Oxford Owl.

These are some of our favourites:

Primary Homework Help | Online Games For Kids - BBC Bitesize                                                  Phonics Family

Reading at home

Your child's teacher will allocate books on Bug Club that can be used at home to practise reading. Reading at home with and to your child is the single most important thing you can do to help your child to progress well in their learning. If you are looking for more books to share with your child, Oxford owl is fantastic for free ebooks. This document details lots of other websites that are useful for reading: Reading at home
